Kitchen & Food Preservation Favorites
Welcome to my kitchen!
At SavageElf Creations, I'm always experimenting with recipes, preserving homegrown herbs, making small-batch jams and jellies, and finding new ways to make my kitchen work more efficiently.
Over the years, I've discovered tools that have become essential to my everyday cooking and creative projects.
These are some of my personal favorites—equipment I've actually used and would recommend to others.

COSORI Food Dehydrator

One of my most-used kitchen tools, I have two of them!
I use my COSORI dehydrator to preserve homegrown herbs, including basil, sage, oregano, and garlic chives.
I especially appreciate being able to dry herbs at lower temperatures, which has helped me preserve their beautiful natural colors.
My dehydrator is an earlier model. I've linked the closest newer version available, although I haven't personally tested that updated model.
NESCO Smart Electric Pressure Canner

This has become one of those kitchen appliances I can't imagine being without!
My NESCO Smart Electric Pressure Canner has earned a permanent place among my food-preservation equipment. I appreciate having a dedicated appliance for my canning projects, especially when I'm spending long days preparing batches in the kitchen.
I'll be sharing more about my personal experience, the features I use most, and what I've learned along the way.
EJWOX Fruit Press

Making homemade jams, jellies, and fruit preserves often starts with extracting fresh fruit juice, and my EJWOX fruit press is one of the tools I use for that process.
Whether I'm experimenting with new fruit combinations or preparing ingredients for small-batch preserves, having a dedicated press is a useful addition to my kitchen.
It's another piece of equipment that supports my love of making things from scratch, and I'll be sharing more about my experiences using it.
